NOTE: We are currently waiting on the Goodwe EMS system to arrive at our Showroom so we can put it through extensive tests to ensure the system can stand up to the abuse of a dedicated off grid product. Once we have performed these trials we will update its off grid capability status.

If you are looking for the latest and greatest technology, EV Bidirectional charger integration, Smart port control, real time monitoring and an overall superior software package than the Sigenergy represents the best of the best. You will also find that Sigenergy will be able to adapt and integrate new technology much faster due to having more resources internally dedicated to driving advancements with impressive efficiency.
We also need to highlight that we have been installing Sigenergy Systems since they landed in Australia and have at least half our fleet in off grid configuration. In this time they have proven to be one of the most reliable off grid systems we have ever offered, and this is even more important when their is no fall back for reliable power. In other words, the ultimate test! ​​​

If a customer asks me for a recommendation on what we consider to be the best, it will be Signenergy, and that's because its proven. However... if the budget does not allow the investment i would happily recommend the Goodwe ESA as an alternative option!
Goodwe, bang for buck no frills system in its early days, but certainly worth considering!
The Goodwe ESA system is the first true competitor for the Sigenergy all in one platform. It brings to the table a brand that has been around for a very long time in Australia, and with this should deliver good results for reliability. The Software package for the end user is more in line with other common brands in the market giving the end user the basic set of controls and monitoring. While the all in one design presents well with a sleek and robust design. The main advantage over the Sigenergy system is the batteries 1c capability allowing more performance per battery module. For customers looking for a budget conscious package their really is no competition. The Goodwe offers excellent expandability, similar safety features to the Sigenergy system and decent EV Charger adaptations, all be in minus the Bi directional integrated option. Software wise, its early days and no doubt their monitoring will develop as time moves along. ​​​

Reliability wise, well time will tell. Just like Sigenergy, you never know if issues will arise with a new product design. We have Seen Sigenergy go through a recall process, of which they did exceptionally well with communicating and replacing inverters with additional warranty to end users. To be honest, that's only a small bump in the road and they handled it well.
Will Goodwe have the same reliability and exceptional backup service if its needed? Only one way to find out. And that's by taking the plunge in a system with a good track record and stand out features.
