Why Sigenergy EV charging
Sigenergy chargers plug into the same platform as your solar and battery, so your car becomes part of how your home runs.
Choose PV surplus charging, fast charging or battery charging, all controlled from the mySigen app.
With V2X, your EV becomes a backup battery for your home (V2H) or supports the grid at peak times (V2G).
Integrated DC chargers deliver 12kW or 25kW fast charging, built right into your SigenStor stack.
Your charger lives in the same mySigen app as your solar and battery, with per-vehicle monitoring and usage data.
Sigenergy Platinum Partner
Platinum is invitation only. Sigenergy reserves it for retailers who take pride in their workmanship, keep their consultants trained across the full Sigenergy range, and support customers well after the sale.
Sigenergy were the first in Australia with a market-ready bidirectional EV charger. When it launched, only a few cars supported it. Now most manufacturers have caught up. As SE QLD’s first Platinum partner, we know this platform inside out.

The Sigenergy range
Stackable battery modules, each separately managed, so you can keep adding as you grow.
The home energy gateway that ties your solar, battery and grid together.
Bidirectional 12kW or 25kW DC fast charging, built into your SigenStor stack.
Choose your charger
Both work for residential and commercial sites. The right one depends on your car, your switchboard and whether you have (or want) a SigenStor battery.
Sigenergy EV AC Charger
7kW single phase · up to 22kW three phase
A great all-rounder for single and three phase homes. It needs a dedicated circuit in your switchboard and its own cable run.
V2X bidirectional
SigenStor EV DC Charger
12kW or 25kW DC fast charging
Integrated into your SigenStor stack, so it needs a SigenStor inverter and battery at a minimum. In return you get two-way charging and 12kW or 25kW DC fast charging.
Before you get a quote
A few things that change the price and the options. We’ll work through all of them on your site visit.
1
AC chargers need a dedicated circuit and cable run. The further away (say 20m), the thicker the copper cable needs to be for voltage drop and rise, which can add considerably to the cost.
2
A bidirectional DC charger is part of the SigenStor stack, which can limit where it goes. A site consultation makes sure your preferred spot meets industry requirements.
3
Single phase AC chargers need a connection application and a communication device that lets the grid shut the charger down when it’s under heavy load. For grid-connected homes this isn’t negotiable.
4
Not keen on point 3? The DC charger that integrates into your SigenStor stack doesn’t need that extra control, so it bypasses the network’s shut-down requirement.
V2X compatible brands
Most EV manufacturers now support bidirectional charging, including these brands. Compatibility depends on the model, so check yours below.

FAQ
AC chargers are a great everyday option for single or three phase homes. The DC charger is bidirectional (12kW or 25kW DC fast charging) and avoids the network shut-down device, but it needs a SigenStor inverter and battery. We’ll recommend the right fit on the site visit.
Most major manufacturers now support bidirectional charging, but it depends on the model. Check yours on Sigenergy’s V2X compatibility list.
The further your charger is from the switchboard, the thicker the cable needs to be to manage voltage drop and rise. A 20m run can cost considerably more than a short one.
For single phase AC chargers on grid-connected homes, yes. A communication device that lets the grid shut the charger down under heavy load is mandatory. The integrated DC charger doesn’t need it.
Yes. You can run multiple configurations, or even multiple chargers on the one network.
Yes. Chargers can be locked out and unlocked with an NFC swipe card.
Yes. Both the EV AC and EV DC chargers are compatible with off-grid configured systems.
